What we collect

• Account data: name, email address, and password (stored as a hash).
• Profile and application data (Pros): bio, credentials, portfolio images, service area, and availability.
• Transaction data: bookings, quote requests, quotes, project photos you upload, and reviews.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we store only transaction references and amounts.

How we use it

To operate the marketplace: matching clients with Pros, processing bookings and payments, sending transactional email (booking confirmations, quotes, vetting decisions), preventing fraud, and improving the service. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Service providers who run the platform on our behalf: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), and Mailchimp Transactional (email). Clients and Pros see each other’s names and the details needed to perform booked work. Public Pro profiles display the professional information Pros choose to publish.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep you signed in. If analytics are enabled, Google Tag Manager may set additional cookies to help us understand site usage.

Retention and your rights

We keep your data while your account is active and as required for legal and accounting purposes. You can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account by emailing hello@thecraftfolk.com.
